Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, memory care units, and home community care. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, and dressing Provide companionship and emotional support Aid in mobility and lifting for those in need Prepare meals and ensure dietary requirements are met Administer medication reminders Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals Support individuals with autism or other special needs in their daily routines Experience Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred Familiarity with working in diverse care settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or memory care units Knowledge of best practices in personal care assistance Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and patience
