Experienced caregiver

  Every Saturday and Sunday
• 1st shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
• 2nd shift: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM OR One person does the full shift from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM Paragon Home Care is seeking an experienced, dependable caregiver for a male client in Ashburn, VA.

This is a consistent weekly schedule for a caregiver who is comfortable providing a higher level of hands-on assistance to someone with Parkinson's. About This Client Client has Parkinson's and is a fall risk. Has a gait belt and walker for ambulation. Client has a PureWick system and will need full hands on assistance with full personal care, including incontinence care. Client is 5'7" and roughly 145 lbs, so transfer assistance needs are light to moderate. Schedule & Pay Every Saturday and Sunday

• Must be available to do both days
• 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, OR 7am-11pm Approximately 16 to 32 hours a week!

Starting rate $19/hr with potential to go up in rate Additional cases may be available for caregivers interested in more hours Responsibilities Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, and other ADLs Assist with light to moderate mobility, repositioning, and transfers Safely use and familiar with PureWick System Encourage and assist with prescribed daily movement and exercise within the caregiver's scope and care plan Warm up meals and assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the office Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support Follow the client's established plan of care Qualifications Previous hands-on caregiving experience required Experience assisting clients with PureWick System device Experience with Parkinson's care or similar neurological conditions PCA, HHA, or CNA certification preferred Must be physically capable of safely performing the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Reliable transportation to Ashburn, VA Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow the care plan Authorized to work in the United States Current TB screening Must successfully complete required background screening Why Join Paragon Home Care?
