Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable and attentive Personal Attendant Aide to provide essential hands-on support to an elderly individual in their home who requires assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be able to provide personalized care and assistance with various tasks, promoting the client's independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist with daily personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring the client's comfort and dignity.
Mobility Assistance:
Support the client with transfers, mobility aids, and ambulation, enabling them to move safely and confidently around their living space
Meal Preparation:
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, and assist with feeding if necessary, to ensure the client's nutritional needs are met.
Light Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
Medication Reminders:
Assist the client with medication reminders and ensure timely administration to promote their health and well-being.
Companionship:
Provide emotional support and engage in activities that stimulate the client's mind, body, and spirit, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Safety and Well-being:
Monitor the client's condition, maintain a safe living environment, and report any changes or concerns to a supervisor, ensuring the client's safety and well-being at all times. Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must have a valid government-issued photo ID Able to pass a basic background check Must be able to work onsite in Bristow, VA 20136 Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or nursing home facility preffered
Pay:
$17.97 per hour
