Hospice Senior Care Provider In Vinton Become part of our care team. We serve 3 residents at a time and spoil them rotten. Do you love caring for seniors? Do you want to be a part of something that is changing the way we care for loved ones on hospice in our community? We are hiring a care provider with experience.
responsibilities include:
companionship, Medication Prompting, Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Help Staying Physically Active, Toileting / Dressing, Feeding, Preparing Meals, housekeeping. This is in a private home serving 3 elderly residents.
Full time:
overnights and mornings weekdays. 1 senior in their 80's 2 seniors in their 90's One or more of my loved one suffers from
Alzheimer's/dementia Vinton, VA Starts:
September 2026 Non smoker Comfortable with pets Has own transportation

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32-40 per week

Work Location:
In person Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Experience as wait staff in fine dining, hospitality, or customer service also accepted. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others improve their quality of life Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Experience working with individuals who have dimentia, developmental disabilities, or autism is a plus Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to providing exceptional care.
