Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves fostering independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing quality of life through attentive, respectful, and professional caregiving. The ideal candidate will bring a warm, empathetic approach combined with a strong commitment to patient well-being, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients requiring various levels of assistance, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those managing chronic conditions. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support patients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to report changes or concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Administer medications accurately following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Support clients during medical appointments or community outings using personal transportation assistance Follow established care plans for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or other neurodevelopmental disorders Ensure residents' rights are respected at all times while maintaining documentation of care activities Qualifications Proven5+ yeaers of experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes setting Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs accurately Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism, intellectual disabilities, or developmental disabilities Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, HIPAA compliance, and patient safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and patient transfers safely Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings or appointments (Required) Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Ability to work independently while adhering to strict safety standards in home environments Join us as a compassionate caregiver committed to enriching lives through dedicated support.
