Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support for daily living activities including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping. Monitor and document clients' health status and changes in condition, maintaining accurate medical records. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs as required. Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations and activities. Implement memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments. Perform catheter care and other specialized health-related tasks as needed. Ensure a safe environment by recognizing potential hazards and implementing appropriate safety measures. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care or assisted living environments is preferred. Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical documentation practices and the ability to maintain accurate records. Certification in CPR Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring clients when necessary.
