Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and caring Evening Caregiver to join our team in Marshall, VA, from 5 PM to 9 PM. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional personal care and support to clients during evening hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your dedication will help clients enjoy a peaceful evening and prepare for restful nights while maintaining their independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and overall condition; report any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary Support clients with medication reminders and administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Ensure a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with patient transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques when needed Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Ability to observe patient conditions carefully and monitor vital signs accurately Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and confidentiality Experience with medication administration, first aid, CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, patient transfers, and assist with mobility support Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to provide high-quality caregiving services Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
