Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8:00 AM-6:30 PM | $21/hour Paragon Home Care is seeking an experienced, dependable caregiver for a male client in Great Falls, VA. This is a consistent 3-day-per-week schedule for a caregiver who is comfortable providing a higher level of hands-on assistance. About This Client The client requires full hands-on assistance with personal care and mobility . We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, patient, and experienced with clients who have significant mobility limitations. Experience with an electric Hoyer lift is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Parkinsonism and/or Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is also highly preferred. Schedule & Pay Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 AM-6:30 PM Approximately 31.5 hours per week $21/hour for this specific case Additional cases may be available for caregivers interested in more hours Responsibilities Provide full hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other ADLs Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers Safely use an electric Hoyer lift according to the client's care plan and Paragon's procedures Provide appropriate physical assistance for a client weighing approximately 190 lbs. Encourage and assist with prescribed daily movement and exercise within the caregiver's scope and care plan Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care Provide non-medical medication reminders Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the office Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support Follow the client's established plan of care Qualifications Previous hands-on caregiving experience required Experience assisting clients with significant mobility needs Electric Hoyer lift experience strongly preferred Experience with Parkinsonism, MSA, or similar neurological conditions preferred PCA, HHA, or CNA certification preferred Must be physically capable of safely performing the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation Reliable transportation to Great Falls, VA Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow the care plan Authorized to work in the United States Current TB screening Must successfully complete required background screening Why Join Paragon Home Care?
