Caregiver for 7-Year-Old Child with Autism Weekday Evenings

Job Description

One on One Care is hiring a dependable, patient caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 7-year-old boy with autism in his home.
Schedule Monday-Friday:
4:00 PM-8:00 PM There may also be an opportunity for an additional morning shift from approximately 6:00 AM-7:00 AM, if interested. About the Client The client is nonverbal, mobile, and requires some assistance and prompting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene, and meals. He also needs supervision, companionship, and support with maintaining a consistent routine. He may occasionally display challenging behaviors when frustrated, so we are looking for someone who is patient, calm, and comfortable with redirection.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Patient, dependable, and compassionate Comfortable working with a child with autism Able to remain calm and consistent when providing redirection Willing to follow established routines and care instructions Experienced with autism, developmental disabilities, ABA, or pediatric caregiving is a plus If you're looking for a consistent weekday schedule and enjoy working with children, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
