Job Overview We are seeking energetic and caring individuals to join our team as Caregivers in Leesburg, VA. This vital role involves providing personalized assistance to clients with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being Support patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and neurodevelopmental disorders Ability to assist with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods safely Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care plans Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training will be provided if needed Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident's rights ensures respectful and confidential care Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus Join us to provide compassionate caregiving that truly transforms lives!
