Job Overview We are seeking a caring and energetic Caregiver to join our team in Luray, VA, for 12-hour shifts at an engaging rate of $20 per hour. This vital role involves providing personalized support to clients in various settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and reporting changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support clients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment Provide patient transfer assistance using proper manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being Requirements Prior experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, including Alzheimer's or dementia care, is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication management, and vital signs monitoring Ability to perform light cleaning and assist with meal preparation effectively Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous; willingness to obtain if not already certified Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident's rights principles Physical ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist with patient transfers as needed Join us to deliver exceptional care that enriches lives!
