Full Job Description Schedule:
3 afternoons weekly (Mon, Tues, Wed) from 2:30-4:30 (starting in mid-September)
Future Schedule:
Possibility to move to 5 days a week We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and patient caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a sweet 4 year old. Support will include managing some behaviors and engaging with him. Logistically, support will include picking him up from his school in Rockville and bringing him to the family's home in McLean and staying with him until about 4:30. Responsibilities Provide attentive one-on-one supervision Keep child engaged with fun, age-appropriate activities Encourage communication and social interaction Support his independence and daily routines Provide close supervision Use a positive, playful, and encouraging approach Communicate with the family regarding daily activities and needs Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone who is: Clear driving record Energetic and outgoing Reliable and communicative Talkative and comfortable engaging a child in conversation and play Playful, creative, and enthusiastic Patient and dependable Comfortable working with autistic children Attentive and safety-conscious If you're energetic, patient and enjoy creating fun and engaging activities for children, we'd love to hear from you!

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
