Our professional care team, led by a registered nurse, delivers compassionate, personalized services with industry-leading standards and accreditation. Overview We are seeking a Certified In-Home Caregiver to deliver exceptional home healthcare assistance to our clients. This vital role involves providing comprehensive personal care, supporting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort within the home environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment and reliability to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care. We are committed to providing caregivers with their desired hours to maintain work-life balance. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and observe patient health status, including vital signs and overall well-being, reporting any concerns promptly. Maintain detailed medical records and hours using electronic health record (EHR) systems on a mobile device while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting and respectful relationship. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment. Work independently with ability to provide initiative when caring for the client's and their homes while adhering to the Plan of Care that is individualized for each client. Requirements Valid certification as an In-Home Caregiver or equivalent credential; prior experience preferred. Valid driver's license and car insurance. High school diploma or equivalent. Clean background check and drug screen. Completion of annual CEU's required to maintain caregiving certification Demonstrated experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia or Alzheimer's disease, and hospice or end-of-life care. Experience with veteran care community is a plus. Knowledge of home healthcare regulations, medical terminology, patient transfer methods (including Hoyer lifts), and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR. Excellent communication skills for client and office interaction and documentation accuracy. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient transfers safely. Experience working within home health agencies or in long-term care settings is advantageous.
