Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and caring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. The PCA provides hands-on assistance to individuals who need support with daily activities while helping them maintain their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a positive difference in the lives of clients and their families. CBH1
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility, walking, positioning, and transfers. Provide assistance with meal preparation and feeding when needed. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Provide medication reminders as permitted by applicable regulations and company policy. Observe clients and report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor. Follow established care plans and instructions. Assist clients with maintaining their independence whenever possible. Document services and care provided accurately. Maintain client privacy and confidentiality. Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures. Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
