As a Certified Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized assistance with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Your energetic approach and commitment to compassionate care will help create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for those you serve. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive disabilities Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury during transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Engage residents in social activities and group programs to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being Maintain accurate records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and document care provided Follow safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and safe patient lifting practices to ensure everyone's safety Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas to uphold hygiene standards Drive residents safely using standard passenger cars for appointments or outings when required Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and updates Experience Prior assisted living, In Home Care or long-term care experience is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease Background in nursing home or residential care home environments is advantageous Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and emergency response procedures like CPR and first aid is essential Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and client communication is desirable Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks effectively Experience working with seniors or in home & community care settings enhances your ability to provide personalized support Join us as a Certified Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through caring service!
