This role involves assisting with daily living activities and community outings, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while respecting the dignity and rights of the individual. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including grooming and dressing. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals. Uphold resident rights and ensure confidentiality at all times. Provide supportand assist on community outings Skills Experience care settings is preferred. Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques. Familiarity with medication administration protocols. Understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in care. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with the family. Ability to assist compassionately. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
