Overview We are seeking energetic and caring caregivers to join our team in Louisa/Palmyra,. This vital role involves providing personalized assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor and observe patients' conditions, including patient observation and vital signs documentation Support clients with medication administration and catheter care following medical terminology guidelines Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Use patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe mobility Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and document care accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Provide companionship and emotional support tailored to clients' needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care Requirements Prior assisted living or home healthcare experience preferred; experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics is highly valued Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and vital signs measurement Certification in CPR and First Aid; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform patient transfer methods effectively Familiarity with home health care regulations and documentation procedures in EMR systems Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for client interaction Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts including live-in employment options if available Join us to provide exceptional care that empowers clients to live their best lives at home!
