Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques. Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary requirements. Assist with medication reminders and accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Support clients during community outings or personal transportation needs safely and responsibly. Requirements Proven experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes. Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and emergency response procedures such as CPR and first aid. Experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities. Familiarity with care plans, resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, manual handling techniques, and patient transfer methods. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as required. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Valid certifications in CPR and first aid; additional certifications related to hospice care or home health are a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and care protocols. Our caregivers make a real difference every day. $22.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
