Job Description

Our Assisted Living facility is looking for a full time Resident Attendant for 11pm to 7am shift, 32 hours per week. Resident Attendant's assist our residents with daily needs, including, bathing and dressing, medication, and assisting with other activities. No experience is necessary. We will train. $17.83 - $21.33 per hour Job Description Summary As a Resident Attendant, you will be essential in providing compassionate care to residents during nighttime hours. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will utilize your core skills in long-term care and personal care to assist residents with daily living activities. Your premium skills in Alzheimer's care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities will enhance the quality of life for our residents. Additionally, your relevant experience in meal preparation and behavior management will support a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities The Resident Attendants will assist and/or prompt the residents at Vernon Hall Assisted Living facility residents with: Mealtime reminders Scheduled activities Medication assistance or management Oxygen use and equipment maintenance Incontinence care and toileting Ambulation, transfers and transports Feeding and cueing at mealtimes Transporting to appointments Making beds Assisting with showers Assisting with dressing/undressing a.m. & p.m. They are the "eyes and ears" of the nursing staff, reporting to the nurse in charge regarding the needs of the residents.
