Individualized Program Support Worker Adult Services
  • GMBC Green Mountain Behavior Consulting is growing and is seeking skilled, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team!
Individualized Program Support Worker will be part of a collaborative team and will assist adults with their skills in home and in the community. Individualized Program Support Worker works directly with individuals to implement their behavior support plans. The Individualized Program Support Worker assists with teaching communication, motor, social, self care, and functional living, while assisting to reduce challenging behaviors. Successful candidates must be able to:
  • Assist with client personal care needs
  • Assist in crisis management situations
  • Collect accurate and timely data as instructed
  • Follow specific program protocols as written
  • Willingly accept regular feedback and support
  • Work well with others
  • Maintain physical fitness, demonstrate physical prevention techniques
  • Be respectful of clients, families and co-workers The Individualized Program Support Worker will work under the guidance of their Behavior Analyst and/or Assistant Behavior Analyst to implement behavior programs and 1:1 client support within the home and community setting.
Successful candidates will have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Experience with autism is a plus (but not necessary)!
Preferred:
1+ years experience in mental health/behavioral field (not necessary).
