Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals in their daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need.Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers
- Engage clients in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care settings
- Proficiency in providing care for people with developmental disabilities and dementia
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and protocols
- Ability to drive to client locations as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with caregiving systems and documentation practices
- Experience in working with individuals requiring hospice care
