Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Support residents with medication administration following prescribed guidelines and safety protocols Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities, including Alzheimer's and memory care strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Engage residents in social activities and promote their emotional well-being through compassionate communication Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning duties and adhering to infection control standards Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred but not required. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory support techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles for community outings or appointments if needed Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is advantageous Strong understanding of resident's rights and safe patient lifting practices Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Join us in delivering exceptional care that truly makes a difference! $19.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
