This rewarding role involves providing comprehensive support to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities, monitor health status, and deliver exceptional home healthcare services. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help promote independence and enhance quality of life for those in your care. Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as feeding and medication reminders while adhering to medical terminology and documentation standards Monitor patient health by observing and reporting changes promptly; administer medications following home health care regulations and medical orders Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Support clients with intellectual disabilities with compassionate engagement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs; assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Transport clients to and from work, doctor's appointment. Qualifications Proven experience working as a caregiver in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare settings; experience with long-term care preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration. Certification in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS), including CPR. Familiarity with medical documentation; understanding of home health agency regulations and home & community care standards Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; compassionate approach to patient personal care assistance Valid experience in live-in employment roles demonstrating reliability and dedication to client well-being.
