In this vital role, you will provide assistance with daily living activities, ensure safety and well-being, and foster a warm, supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs. Your energy and commitment will help create a nurturing home where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered to live their best lives. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all care activities Engage residents in meaningful activities, including meal preparation, recreational outings, and social interactions to enhance quality of life Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Manage behavioral challenges associated with dementia or cognitive disabilities through compassionate behavior management strategies Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout shiftsJoin us if you're passionate about providing exceptional care in a supportive environment!
