Job Summary We're hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support clients in and around Delavan. You'll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. We have full-time, part-time, and PRN (as-needed) openings, so whether you're looking for steady hours or occasional fill-in shifts, we'd like to hear from you. Both experienced caregivers and those new to the field with the right attitude are encouraged to apply. Positions Available Full-time — consistent weekly schedule with a regular client assignment Part-time — set shifts that fit around school, family, or another job PRN / as-needed — pick up shifts when you're available; great for covering call-offs, vacations, and short-notice needs Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor client health by observing vital signs, assisting with medication as permitted, and reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, maintaining proper food safety and hygiene standards Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation, especially for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders Support home safety through light cleaning and organizing living spaces, maintaining a clean, safe environment while protecting client privacy in compliance with HIPAA Assist with transportation to medical appointments and community activities, ensuring client safety during transfers and travel Follow care plans meticulously while maintaining clear communication with clients' families and healthcare teams to ensure consistent quality of care Qualifications Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal) Valid Wisconsin driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance Ability to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check (per DHS requirements) Dependable, punctual, and a strong communicator Able to assist with client mobility and lifting as needed Must be at least 18 years old (Case dependent) Comfortable using Hoyer lifts and performing safe patient transfers, or willing to be trained Join us in making a meaningful difference!
