""Urgent Need for Full Time NOC Shift""
  • Overview:
  • We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team in Aspen Acres Assisted Living . As a Caregiver , you will provide personal care services for residents including ADLs, physical fitness, activities, and dining. Caregiver will provide assistance to help residents remain as independent as possible always respecting "Resident Rights".
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management Performs household services essential for resident care, including but not limited to: Meal prep and serving meals, dining assistance, clean up.
Laundry, & Housekeeping Administers medications and treatments as delegated by RN Monitor and report changes in residents' Individual Service Plans & health status Support residents with mobility assistance and transfers Implement behavior management techniques for clients with specific needs
  • Caregiver Skills and Qualifications:
  • Multi-tasking, Teamwork, Infection Control, Competency Performing ADLs, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Creating a Safe Environment, Informing Others, Judgment, Pain Management, Handling Significant Change of Condition per Policy and Procedure.
Successful completion of required CBRF classes per DHS 83. Demonstrated ability to read and write. Ability to understand verbal instructions and follow written
Individual Service Plan Job Demands:
Physical, Emotional Employee must be able to perform key physical tasks for extended periods of time. When supporting, lifting or transferring residents, proper body mechanics and safety measures as prescribed by community must be used.
  • In a typical eight hour day employee will:
  • Stand/walk most of work day Occasionally support up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds Occasionally kneel, bend, and reach Secure proper assistance for transferring and lifting residents as needed Be exposed to the physical and emotional disabilities of the aged, which may include combative behavior Exposed irregularly to infection upon entering resident rooms.
