The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. We are seeking someone who is caring, compassionate and a team player, flexible in any situation.
Key Responsibilities Resident Care:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Be active participants in life enrichment and social activities with the residents. Monitor and report any changes in residents' health status. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents. Respond promptly to resident call lights, requests for assistance and emergencies. Active in responding to needs of residents, families, team members and other members of our community. Our caregivers are representatives of our communities.
Safety and Security:
Conduct regular safety checks and rounds to ensure a secure environment. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized living space. Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Documentation:
Accurately document care provided and any notable changes in residents' conditions. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Collaboration:
Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members, residents, and their families. Assist in coordinating care with other healthcare professionals as needed. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Experience:
Previous caregiving experience in an assisted living or similar environment preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong observational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents using proper lifting techniques. Capability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
