Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates to ensure health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, using specialized techniques to promote comfort and safety Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and repositioning Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration details Engage residents in social activities and group programs to promote mental stimulation and community involvement Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care best practices Ability to operate EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation purposes Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe patient lifting practices consistently Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Experience working with individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities is advantageous Reliability This role offers a dynamic environment where your caregiving skills directly improve residents' daily lives. Pay:
$15.50 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
