Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. This rewarding role involves providing attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, you'll be a vital part of creating a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while working in a supportive, team-oriented setting dedicated to enhancing quality of life. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; observe and report changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient progress Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certification or training in CPR and First Aid; ability to respond calmly during emergencies Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed for patient support Strong interpersonal skills to work compassionately with diverse populations including seniors and people with disabilities Experience working with care plans, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and social work principles is advantageous Join us in providing exceptional home & community care that fosters independence and dignity.
