Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Support patients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities Facilitate transportation for appointments or community outings using personal transportation assistance Requirements Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes Familiarity with care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other neurodegenerative conditions Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to follow detailed care plans while respecting residents' rights and privacy standards Valid driver's license preferred for client transportation responsibilities Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving duties Join us in delivering exceptional home care that transforms lives!
