Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly seniors, by delivering personalized care in various settings, in private residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to caregiving and the ability to create a warm and supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor clients for or changes in condition. Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences. Provide memory care support for clients experiencing cognitive challenges. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring them safely when required. Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to nursing staff or family members. Foster positive relationships with clients to enhance their emotional well-being and social engagement. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance is preferred but not mandatory. Familiar with care plans is advantageous. Experience working in a nursing home or assisted living environment is a plus. A background in memory care is beneficial for supporting clients with cognitive impairments. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
