We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
Job Posting:
Seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver in the Mineral Point, WI area to offer supportive care for a young adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client's independence while ensuring a safe and structured environment in their home and community.
Pay:
$16.32/hourly Opportunity to receive $500 bonus
Schedule:
Flexible schedule to be officially determined between member and provider. Up to three weekdays per week (depending on your availability): 8:00am-4:00pm Occasional Saturday nights (hours vary)
Tasks:
Care would be provided in client's home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged. Ensure safety of client while under your supervision. Actively monitor seizures, remove any harmful objects, and time duration. Support the client during postictal period by providing comfort and re-orientation. Track medications and ensure member is on schedule. Assist with daily activities, including personal care and meal prep, while promoting independence. Assist client in the community.
Qualifications:
Must pass background check. Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Previous experience working with seizures preferred. Ability to follow care plans and communicate with the family/care team.
