Assisting with meals, feeding, hydration, and dietary needs. Administering or assisting with medications as authorized and documenting medication administration. Providing supervision and maintaining a safe living environment. Monitoring residents for changes in physical condition, mood, behavior, or functioning and reporting concerns. Providing behavioral support and following behavior/support plans. Assisting with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention when needed. Providing transportation and accompanying residents to appointments, community activities, shopping, and outings. Completing required documentation, progress notes, medication records, and incident reports. Performing household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and maintaining residents' living areas. Responding appropriately to emergencies and following emergency procedures. Maintaining resident confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and residents' rights. Communicating professionally with residents, families/guardians, supervisors, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team. Following facility policies, infection-control procedures, and applicable state requirements.
