Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Hang Out Friend / Respite Worker to provide engaging companionship and support for an individual. In this role, you will create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment, offering meaningful social interactions and assistance with daily activities. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in caregiving and community support. Duties Engage with clients through recreational activities, conversation, and social outings that promote well-being and happiness Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meal preparation, light cleaning, and maintaining a clean, safe environment Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings using appropriate safety procedures and vehicle safety protocols Qualifications Prior experience working with kids and/or neurodiverse kids is a plus! Ability to walk, jog, and jump. Must be able to maintain physical activity for a period of time. Ability to understand and use technology is preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with child and family Demonstrated patience, compassion, and adaptability in supporting individuals with disabilities Join us as a Hang Out Friend - Respite Worker to bring joy into the lives of those we serve! Pay:

$18.03 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 9.0 per week
