Youth Respite Provider General information Date Tuesday, March 31, 2026 Location WI - New Auburn Position Level Individual Contributor I Employment Type Part time Career Field Caregiver Description & Requirements If you would like more information about our company, you can visit our website here: Who We Are - CDWI This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking an experienced, patient, and confident caregiver to provide respite support for a young girl in the New Auburn area. Care may take place in the provider's home or within community-based settings. This is a great opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, consistent with boundaries, and experienced in supporting youth with behavioral needs.
Pick-Up Location :
New Auburn (Provider's residence/Community setting)Schedule :
10 Hours/Week - Flexible scheduling forTues, Thurs, and Fri Compensation :
$17.66/Hour How You'll Help- Gentle reminders to take medications
- Facilitate fun activities and provide safety supervision
- Preparing simple meals and snacks together
- Staying nearby to help her make safe choices
- Friendly reminders for hygiene and daily routines
- Helping her stay focused on tasks and guiding her back when she gets distracted
- De-escalate conflicts using calm, proactive strategies
- Offer emotional support, encouragement, and clear guidance
- Communicate regularly with the family regarding behaviors, progress, and incidents Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with youth who have behavioral challenges
- Confident, firm, and emotionally regulated
- Flexible and dependable
- Able to provide structured, engaging supervision
- Comfortable providing care in a personal home or community setting Behavioral Profile The child can escalate quickly (0-100), particularly when plans change or expectations feel unclear.
Success in this role requires:
- Clear communication

- Calm, firm boundary-setting
- Ability to de-escalate and redirect effectively Child Interests
- Animals, Swimming, Puzzles, Arts & crafts, Watching movies, Spending time outdoors Incorporating her interests into structured, fun activities is highly encouraged.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license/Reliable vehicle/Auto insurance
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to Pass a Caregiver/Criminal Background Check Interested?
