A PCA is needed for a vibrant and very determined young lady who is living with Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. This individual is non-verbal, but is very intelligent. The client needs assistance completing daily living tasks (toileting, bathing, dressing, etc…) and light housekeeping tasks (grocery shopping, laundry, vacuuming, etc…) because her arms and legs do not work well enough to accomplish them herself. As a PCA, you would provide her assistance with these tasks. No medical background is needed as hands-on training is provided. Scheduling is based on your availability. The client is part of the IRIS (I Respect, I Self-Direct) program through the State of Wisconsin. Applicants must pass a background check through the state of Wisconsin. A vehicle is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended. The client resides on the east side of Oshkosh.
