While this position does include some hands-on support, you do not need to come in with a caregiving background. The specific routines, equipment, and techniques you'll use will be taught to you. We're looking for someone who is dependable, comfortable around people, willing to learn, and genuinely interested in making someone's day better. Responsibilities May Include Providing assistance with personal care and daily routines Helping with transfers using an overhead lift Assisting with G-tube feeding and medication routines Providing support with mobility and positioning Driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle for outings Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment Participating in recreational activities and community events Offering companionship, encouragement, and social interaction Hands-on training will be provided before you're expected to work independently. Hours Available There are multiple schedules available, primarily PM and Overnight (awake) shifts, please apply and we can discuss your availability! There may also be opportunities for additional hours as the support team develops. What We're Looking For The right person will be: At least 18 years old Dependable and consistent Patient, respectful, and comfortable working one-on-one Willing to learn new routines and hands-on skills Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable participating in activities Able to pass a caregiver background check A licensed driver with reliable transportation Comfortable operating a wheelchair-accessible vehicle No previous caregiving experience is required.
