Supportive Home Caregiver Ripon, WI 54971 Part-time Part-time Job Summary The Supportive Home Care position provides short term and/or on-going and long term support to individuals with barriers in their home.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Housekeeping :

Cleaning, doing laundry, and running errands

• Meal preparation : Shopping for groceries, cooking, and preparing snacks

Transportation :

Arranging transportation to appointments and other outings

Socialization :

Helping clients stay engaged in their communities and social networks

• Emotional support : Providing emotional support and socialization
• Advocate for the consumer.
• Work cooperatively with all staff to achieve department and Company goals.
• Maintain confidentiality policies of the Company.
• Participate in the Real-Time Feedback and Goal-Achievement Coaching Program at Diverse Options, Inc.
• Remain current in and implement new methods of training and education for consumers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Requirements:

At the time of hire, must submit to and pass a caregiver background check, as required by The Caregiver Law under Wis. Stat. § 50.065.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to balance, stretch, crouch, bend, stoop, crawl, walk, kneel, twist, climb, stand, and sit.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull up to 30 lbs.

Driving Requirements:

• If individual will be driving his/her own personal vehicle for business purposes, proof of adequate personal auto insurance is required.
• If individual will be driving a Diverse Options, Inc.
