Our caregivers play an important role in helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. Weekend/Holiday Requirement:

Every other weekend and holiday rotation What You'll Do As a CBRF Caregiver, you will: Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Assist with meals, dining, and hydration. Provide medication assistance/administration as permitted by your training and Wisconsin requirements. Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the nursing or supervisory team. Follow resident care plans and facility procedures. Complete required documentation accurately and timely. Assist with laundry, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Encourage residents to participate in activities and social opportunities. Promote resident independence, dignity, privacy, and choice. Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and resident-rights requirements. Participate in required training and staff meetings. Work cooperatively with nursing staff, caregivers, residents, families, and other members of the SSC team.

What We're Looking For Qualifications:

Must meet Wisconsin requirements for employment in a CBRF. Prior caregiving, CNA, or assisted living experience is preferred. Current CBRF certifications are preferred but training may be provided by SSC . Must successfully complete required background checks and employment screening. Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodations when applicable. Why Join Sheboygan Senior Community? $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
