Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in our day services program. This role requires a patient-centered approach, excellent observation skills, and the ability to assist clients with daily living activities. Duties As a Care Worker, your responsibilities will include: Providing personal care to clients, including assistance in bathroom or changing them. Observing and documenting patients' conditions and reporting any changes to the management team. Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients. Supporting clients in daily activities and encouraging their independence. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assisting with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure client safety. Administering first aid and CPR when necessary, following established protocols. Building strong relationships with clients to enhance their emotional well-being. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience in home health, group home, or nursing home settings is preferred. Strong patient observation skills to monitor client health effectively. Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the care environment.
