Start personal caregiving for one-on-one care in a homebase, self direction program. Help keep members in home and feel independent as possible with in home care. Community Horizons assists find candidates for members that live in their own home and hire their own caregivers.

This member is an autistic non-verbal male who needs assistance with day-to-day life and activities. Monday-Friday 8am-4/430pm
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily personal cares and hygiene needs Provide support with dressing, grooming, toileting, showers, and other routine care tasks Offer companionship and engage in meaningful interaction and activities Accompany client on outings and community activities Spend time outdoors, as he enjoys nature and being outside Help maintain a calm, positive, and safe environment Support mobility and daily routines as needed Light housekeeping related to client care Monitor comfort, mood, and overall wellbeing
Ideal Candidate:
Patient, kind, and dependable Comfortable working with nonverbal individuals Enjoys outdoor activities and being active in the community Observant and able to communicate through nonverbal cues and routines Respectful, open-minded, and compassionate Previous caregiving or DSP experience preferred Valid driver's license preferred for outings and appointments
Pay:
$16.23 - $18.00 per hour
