Job Description
Stable Living LLP is hiring! We are an assisted living company that offers supportive programs to adults with disabilities. Stable Living LLP is looking for someone to fill our Weekender position at one of our Adult Family Homes! As the Weekender, you would be working an entire weekend consecutively at one of our adult family homes, with shifts typically being between Friday 5pm
- Mon 8am. You are allowed to sleep at the house between the hours of 11p-7a each night. We compensate at $900 per weekend worked. In this role, you are caring for up to 4 adults with disabilities. Come join us and make a positive impact in someone's life! Job Responsibilities
- Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which includes assisting with administering medication.
- Offer appropriate redirection and deescalate behaviors from residents.
- Provide quality resident care as indicated on the care plan.
- Meal prep.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
- Providing guidance on developmental goals such as daily living skills.
- Promote residents' confidence and independence.
- Companionship.
- Provide daily assistance/encouragement with tasks such as housekeeping, hygiene, and laundry.
- Participate in the community life enriching activities, events and outings, while encouraging residents to attend.
- Take residents to local parks, movies, bowling, shopping, and medical appointments.
Job Requirements :
- Be able to pass a caregiver background check
- GED/High School Diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- 1 year of caregiving experience if possible but not necessary
- Confident in stressful situations
- Need to have a valid Driver's License We provide standard caregiver training at our company office as well as in-person training at the house to set you up for success! Benefits of working with us!
