https://www.christianservantshomecare.com/ What You'll Do As a Personal Supports / Daily Living Skills Trainer, you will work one-on-one with an individual to provide practical support, encouragement, and skill-building opportunities.

Responsibilities may include:

Supporting money management and budgeting skills Helping develop organization and planning skills Teaching and supporting grocery shopping skills Assisting with meal planning and preparation while encouraging independence Supporting the development of daily living and household management skills Helping the individual learn to use community resources Providing transportation and support for community activities, errands, and appointments as appropriate Encouraging problem-solving, decision-making, and self-advocacy Supporting the individual in developing greater confidence and independence Providing prompts, guidance, and encouragement while allowing the individual to complete tasks as independently as possible Helping establish routines and strategies for staying organized Documenting services and progress as required Other related support and skill-building activities based on the individual's goals and needs Current Opening - Ashland, WI We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to work one-on-one with a teenage boy in Washburn, Wisconsin. The individual is looking for support in becoming more independent and organized with everyday life skills, including money management, grocery shopping, meal preparation, using community resources, and other activities that promote greater independence. The ideal candidate will be someone who is patient, encouraging, and able to teach practical skills in a respectful and supportive manner. Current Availability The current schedule is: Mondays after 3:45 PM Tuesdays after 3:45 PM Thursdays after 3:45 PM Weekends The exact number of hours will be based on the individual's authorized services, needs, and mutually agreed-upon schedule. What We're Looking For Qualified applicants should: Have experience working with individuals who have disabilities or other support needs Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and encouraging Have the ability to teach and reinforce practical daily living skills Be comfortable supporting someone toward greater independence rather than simply completing tasks for them Be able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries Pass a background check Have a valid driver's license with a good driving record Have a reliable, insured vehicle Have a reliable phone with voicemail Have access to email Preferred Qualifications Experience providing Personal Supports, Daily Living Skills Training, or similar services Experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities Experience teaching independent living skills Experience with money management, meal preparation, grocery shopping, or community-based skill development CPR and First Aid certification

Pay & Schedule Pay:

Starting at $18.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience Part-time position Current availability needed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 3:45 PM and weekends Flexible scheduling based on the individual's needs and authorized services One-on-one support in the client's home and community Start date based on caregiver availability and client placement
