Job Description

Sunset Ridge Assisted Living in Johnson Creek is a licensed Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults in both Assisted Living and Memory Care settings. Our team is committed to enhancing the lives of our residents through personalized care, dignity, and respect in a home-like environment. If you're looking for a rewarding position where you can make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in the daily care and support of our residents. You'll assist individuals with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe and nurturing environment—especially for those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, etc.) Provide support with mobility and safe ambulation Monitor and document residents' health and behaviors Administer medications in accordance with CBRF training and policy Assist with meal preparation and feeding, when needed Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation Provide compassionate memory care using dementia-informed techniques Maintain cleanliness and safety within the facility Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Previous caregiving experience preferred (Assisted Living or Memory Care a plus) Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license (if transporting residents is required) Ability to pass a criminal background check and health screening Current or willing to obtain CBRF certifications
