Job Description
Personal Care Operations is seeking a compassionate and reliable Live-In Caregiver to assist adults with disabilities in Charles Town, WV. This position is located in a private family home. A private bedroom, utilities, and meals are provided as a condition of employment. Starting wage up to $16/hour depending on experience and fit. Live-in opportunities include scheduling based on the ongoing needs of the household. Duties include personal care assistance, help with Activities of Daily Living, mobility assistance, behavioral support, support for independent living skills, health and medication monitoring, light housekeeping, companionship, record documentation, and transportation assistance. Candidates must demonstrate emotional maturity, good judgment, patience, adaptability to family routines, and the ability to maintain a warm, respectful, and professional presence while living and working in a private family home with vulnerable individuals. This position requires assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. No prior experience or education is required, and training will be provided. Candidates must complete First Aid and CPR certification and pass a background check as a condition of employment. A mutual adjustment period will be used to ensure the arrangement is a good fit for both the caregiver and the family.
