Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Must be dependable 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday Duties Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support patients with medication administration and monitoring vital signs in accordance with care plans. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful environment. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary requirements. Help clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Document patient observations, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Proven experience working as an in-home caregiver or in related settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers safely. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with home health care practices, hospice care, geriatrics, and long-term care environments is preferred.
