Job Overview We are seeking energetic and compassionate Full-time and Part-time Caretakers to join our team! Multiple shifts are available to fit your schedule, offering flexible opportunities to make a meaningful difference. In this role, you will provide essential personal care, assist with daily activities, and support individuals in various care settings. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those we serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support residents with medication administration following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Engage in patient observation to ensure safety, comfort, and emotional well-being Support clients during community outings or personal transportation needs Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and client records Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including intellectual or developmental disabilities Knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care is beneficial Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home health environments Ability to perform patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and basic first aid including CPR certification Skilled in assisting with ADLs and using patient transfer methods safely Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Capable of heavy lifting, manual handling, and providing personal transportation assistance when needed Experience with care planning, medication management, HIPAA compliance, and patient personal care assistance Join us at Daily Companions Inc to be part of a passionate team dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate caregiving.
