About the Campbell County Senior Center The Campbell County Senior Center is a non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of seniors in our community. While we are not a residential facility, we provide a safe and welcoming environment where seniors enjoy nutritious lunches and a wide range of engaging activities. Our mission is to help seniors remain independent and active by offering accessible programs and compassionate services. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Homemaker to provide essential in-home support services to dependent adults. This role plays a vital part in helping our seniors maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment. While all work is performed during daytime hours, applicants must be flexible, as scheduling may vary based on client needs. Why Join Us? Part-Time Opportunities (0-15 Hours per Week) $16.00/hour starting wage Daytime hours only - Monday through Friday Flexible schedule - hours may vary depending on client needs No holidays or weekends required One-on-one, meaningful work environment Key Responsibilities Provide non-medical, in-home assistance for dependent adults Perform light housekeeping duties such clean and maintain kitchens, bathrooms, and floors Assist with laundry and changing linens Grocery shop and run errands as needed Help with home organization and other homemaking tasks Maintain a professional, friendly, and respectful relationship with clients What We're Looking For A caring and reliable individual who wants to make a meaningful impact Someone who works well independently and as part of a team A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a Central Registry check and DCI background check Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and be on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift and transfer up to 50 pounds Capable of completing homemaking tasks without physical limitations Make a difference in the lives of Campbell County seniors — apply today!
