The Interior Alaska Center for Non-Violent Living (IAC) is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Lead Advocate to provide leadership, support, and advocacy services for individuals impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking. The SART Lead Advocate provides direct advocacy to survivors while helping coordinate the day-to-day operations of the SART program. Responsibilities include mentoring and supporting advocates, assisting with training and scheduling, responding to SART calls, reviewing documentation for quality and compliance, collaborating with community partners, and ensuring trauma-informed, client-centered services. This position also provides crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, and supports residential shelter operations as needed. The ideal candidate is SART-certified and has experience providing trauma-informed advocacy to survivors. They possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries, work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and are committed to IAC's mission of providing compassionate, survivor-centered services. Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
