The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of paralegal experience in a personal injury law firm. Must have proficiency with completing written discovery; calendaring and staying on top of strict deadlines while maintaining strong communication with clients, and work collaboratively with our attorneys and staff in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury cases from intake to settlement. Conduct client outreach and provide regular status updates to the attorney(s). Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case. Handle property damage and loss-of-use claims. Obtain, review, and organize medical records, police reports, and supporting documentation. Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other involved parties. Manage and resolve Medi-Cal and Medicare liens. Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files using FileVine and Microsoft Office Suite. Assist attorneys with litigation preparation and case strategy. Ensure high-quality, compassionate client care at every stage of the process.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2• years of experience• as a personal injury paralegal in a California law firm. Strong knowledge of California personal injury law and procedures. Proficiency with FileVine case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Extensive experience drafting and responding to written discovery in California personal injury litigation, including strategic use of interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission. Ability to independently manage discovery deadlines and support motion to compel practice is required. Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client information. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies. Fluent in Spanish ( required ).
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
